How to Use ND Filters: An Introduction

This 95mm Nano-X Pro Variable ND Filter from K&F Concept is a neutral density filter that covers the entire image area and can darken the exposure from 1 to 9 stops. This darkened exposure provides greater control over the depth of field when trying to isolate a subject in the image. It can also lengthen the exposure time to create increased motion blur for smooth water or cloud movement effects. In addition, it can be used for finer control when shooting video.

Made with optical glass, this filter features nano coating for reduced flare and glare, which provides optimal light transmission and color rendition. The nano coating also incorporates a waterproof and scratch-resistant resistance coating, making this filter easy to clean and well suited for use even in harsh environments.

The slim 7.3mm aluminum filter ring allows use with lenses as wide as 16mm for a full-frame camera, and it features a bright orange putter lever for easily setting the desired density.
