This QAPL Adapter with Low-Profile CablefromAmbient Recordinghas a 5-pin male XLR connector and is a great option to attach a plug-on transmitter to your internally wired QuickPole series 5. The QAPL-TX enables attaching your plug-on transmitter (not included) parallel to the tube when using an internally wired QuickPole with a coiled cable and lateral cable outlet. Mounting your transmitter on the bottom pole parallel instead of directly to your mic helps balance your pole, making it easier to “swing” your boom for long periods of time, and it also reduces strain on your mic’s shock mount. The 5-pin XLR connector supports a stereo signal on a single connector and is for transmitters that have a 5-pin female XLR.
